ABSTRACT
A basic parameter which determines the radiodegradation of polymers is the type of radiation involved in this process. Radiations composed of particles with higher energies than those encountered in binding electron orbitals are referred to as high energy radiations, e.g. y-rays, high energy electron beams, neutrons, etc.
