ABSTRACT
The journal Socialism or Barbarism, in which these articles [chapters 25-34] appeared, was the theoretical mouthpiece of a few militants, workers, employees, and intellectuals who had banded together with the aim of carrying on the Marxist critique of reality, both theoretical and practical, even to its extreme consequences.1
