ABSTRACT
I had been a frequent visitor to the Soviet Union for several years following the Apollo 11 mission and then served as a member of the U.S. delegation working on the U.S.- Soviet Union bilateral cooperation in space. There was also an opportunity in an exchange visit by an arrangement between Mstislav Keldish and Harold Brown after the first visit by a President of the Soviet Academy to the United States.
