ABSTRACT

Wireless communications play an increasingly important role in the networking infrastructure of the world. It is predicted that in a few years, the number of computing and communications devices that will connect to the Internet without wires will far exceed traditional desktop computers and workstations. Consequently, the opportunity for pervasive computing is peaking at this time. In essence, wireless communications will provide the necessary groundwork for anywhere, anytime computing that becomes more relevant for Telegeoinformatics applications.
