ABSTRACT
In the previous chapters we reviewed and discussed in some detail a number of strategies to resolve specific issues in the management of R&D. In this chapter we will discuss some of the overall strategies that R&D can use in the management of the interface with the rest of the organization. The usefulness and utility of R&D in an organization results from making R&D contribute synergistically to the successful accomplishment of the organizational objectives.
