ABSTRACT
A search for U.S. Supreme Court cases involving methamphetamine usage reveals a decidedly conservative stance, although dissenting opinions reflect support for defendants’ and Constitutional rights. The few cases uncovered involved sentencing guidelines, entrapment procedures, waiver of plea bargain discussion inadmissibility and coercion in the plea bargaining process, hearsay evidence, and the right to cross-examination.
