ABSTRACT
Dear World was based on Maurice Valency's The Madwoman of Chaillot, an adaptation of Jean Giraudoux's Giraudoux's play La Folle de Chaillot, a special favorite of Jerry's ever since he played the Deaf-Mute in a production at the University of Miami.
