ABSTRACT
In an analysis of variance (ANOVA), the idea is to partition the overall variance in the response into that due to each of the factors and the error. The traditional approach is to directly estimate these components. However, we take a regression-based approach by putting the model into the y=X!+" and then using the inferential methods we have learned earlier in this book.
