ABSTRACT
John Ferris is Professor of History, University of Calgary. He has written widely in intelligence, military, diplomatic and strategic history. His publications include Men, Money, and Diplomacy: The Evolution of British Strategic Policy, 1919-26 (1989) and British Army and Signals Intelligence during the First World War (co-editor, 1992).
