ABSTRACT
The Offshore program checklist below outlines the steps required to successfully implement Offshore, for both IT application development as well as maintenance and support. Although no program checklist can claim to be complete and comprehensive in today’s complex and tailored IT environments, the information below can serve as a useful basis and guideline for Offshore execution, in particular to help elucidate areas that may be overlooked completely because they are unique to Offshore. In addition, we take a look at the similarities and differences among Offshore and other large-scale, cross-geography technology implementation efforts.
