ABSTRACT

The previous two sections of Text Triage advocated for content and its connections, but this last part of the triage rubric gets to how the audience expects to receive the story. Are you speaking the language that’s appropriate to your audience? Meeting audience expectations for how the story will be delivered is critical to developing trust in your readers. Misspelled words, poor grammar, and usage choices that are out of sync with your audience’s expectations will cause them to doubt the value of your content.
