ABSTRACT
This chapter
looks at the history and nature of listening to students perspectives on dyslexia
examines the variety of sources from which dyslexic children’s views on school have emerged
discusses conceptual and practical issues related to eliciting children’s perspectives
voices children’s views on a dyslexia friendly school initiative
stresses the importance of linking children’s and student’s perspectives on dyslexia to school improvement.
