ABSTRACT
Tina is a 32-year-old self-identified biracial woman who has been experiencing recent changes in her mood and behavior, including depressive and anxiety symptoms. She was born in and resided in a small southern U.S. town until several months ago, when she moved to an urban community in the Pacific Northwest region for a job opportunity. She has been referred to you for personality assessment to help guide her diagnosis and treatment. You complete Tina’s evaluation and prepare to write a report of your findings. As you prepare to write the report, what kinds of issues will you consider about the role of Tina’s regional context to help you interpret and understand the results of the personality assessment?
