ABSTRACT

This chapter explores the use of technology within music education. The following four extracts have each been chosen because they illustrate concepts that relate to the key practice of using technology within the processes of teaching and learning in music. They are not about the nitty-gritty of what to do with a particular piece of technology nor how to use it within your teaching, but rather address the bigger themes that writers and researchers have explored that should impact on your future work in this area.
