ABSTRACT
Product liability is the term used in respect of private legal rights to seek compensation for injuries sustained as a result of exposure to a dangerous product. Product safety, on the other hand, is the remit of a regulatory regime and concerns public questions of enforcement by the state through the criminal courts. So far, there has been little evidence of “Joined Up” treatment of these differing regimes.
