ABSTRACT
The concept of society is multi-dimensional and complex. The students we work with participate in multiple societies every day (Lee, 2007). One of your students might be a member of the marching band, sing in the school chorus, and play on the soccer team-and those are only the societies she belongs to while at school! At home this student may be a gamer and an artist as well, each of which comes with its own societal implications.
