A FEW of the difficulties which be~et advertising agents and managers of newspapers have already been discussed in the chapter on the business of advertising in the Press. The present chapter will be devoted to the consider~tions of the more important restrictions on the mural advertiser. These may be classified under three heads: restrictions on the part of the trade; restrictions enforced by the gen-eral hiw of the land; and those enforced by local legislation.
