ABSTRACT
Lesson 3 teaches readers how to visualize and create architectural plans of buildings and
sites. Plans illustrate a horizontal slice through a building or site. Similar to sections, plans
are orthographic projections that illustrate the interior workings, spatial distribution, and
features of the built environment.
