ABSTRACT
Lesson 4 teaches readers how to create parallel, or volumetric, projections of spaces and
buildings. Specifically, this chapter examines two types of parallel projections: axonometric
and section-oblique drawings. These volumetric drawings convey the form, mass, and
volume of a subject by documenting its width, length, and height.
