ABSTRACT

I began with methods, stressing mathematical/computational modelling, brain imaging, and the study of special populations as being growing points. Modelling has involved both broad over-arching models (Anderson, Bothell, Byrne, Douglass, Lebiere, & Qin, 2004; Oberauer, 2010) and more precisely targeted models such as those in the area closest to my interests, namely the phonological loop (e.g. Burgess & Hitch, 2006; Lewandowsky, Brown, Wright, & Nimmo, 2006). People disagree on specifi cs but in my view continue to make steady progress.
