ABSTRACT
Is it possible to write an integrational linguistic history of the word euro, contributory to an account of how the United Kingdom joined or did not join the euro and the EU exchange rate mechanism in the early years of the twenty-first century? And can such a history-writing use corpus-linguistic methods? How might one begin to go about these tasks?
