ABSTRACT
British weather has a habit of surprising us, even in July! With this in mind, I’ve chosen festivals and events which highlight the changeable nature of the weather. Movement is key this month, getting out and about in the sunshine, or the rain, and making the most of it. The summer is a glorious time to introduce children to their environment and we shouldn't let the hint of a downpour dampen our spirits. The climate is changing, and so the world is changing too. It's important to introduce this idea at an early age. Even if young children do not understand the concept of climate change, they can see and experience weather patterns.
