ABSTRACT
Gravity and weightlessness affect blood and others tissues, the mass and volume of which are substantial. It is not surprising that it should exert an influence on small organelles with a higher density than that of the medium in which they are suspended: this is, for instance, the case for otoliths in the utricle and saccule and for amyloplasts in plant cells.
