ABSTRACT

Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) is an important cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with hematological malignancies and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT).1-14 This chapter will review the current understanding of the microbiology, hospital epidemiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis in patients with neoplastic diseases.
