Listening to Evo Morales, we notice a discrepancy between his speeches in defence of the Pachamama, land and territory, directed more toward the outside world and his more developmentalist discourse within the country, including denunciations of the NGOs that promote an ‘Oil free Amazon’. How do you explain this?… And who will ensure that the state will not be as destructive as the transnational companies?
