Introduction

This volume is written for clinicians who work with depression and the

anxiety disorders. Chapters cover major depression, as well as the most

important anxiety disorders seen in clinical practice – generalized

anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post-

traumatic stress disorder, and social anxiety disorder (social phobia). The

contents include clinically relevant material such as diagnosis, evalu-

ation, and treatment.
