ABSTRACT
These are usually reinforced concrete steps of the type illustrated in Figs 7, 8 and 9. These steps are built into the wall at one end, and the triangular section provides greater headroom than steps of rectangular section, are lighter and have a plain soffit which is usually considered to improve the appearance. The step may be constructed with a nosing as Fig 8.
