ABSTRACT
Defective sperm function is the most prevalent cause of male infertility and is a difficult condition to treat. The mechanisms underlying abnormal sperm function are still poorly understood. This may be due to a lack of basic knowledge about biochemical and physiological processes involved in spermatogenesis.
