ABSTRACT

This chapter comprises reflections on the nature of postmodern dance choreography and creativity in the context of choreography and dance movement therapy (DMT). Both are clearly different in intention and outcome but the bedrock of both is dance:

Dance is a truly unique and direct form of communication.

Dance is a unifying activity involving the whole self.

To dance is in the deepest sense of the word to be more vividly.
