ABSTRACT
In English it is relatively easy to form the plural forms of nouns – normally you only add ‘-s’:
‘a cigarette’ → ‘two cigarettes’, ‘a house’ → ‘five houses’.
Exceptions include: ‘a woman’ → ‘two women’, ‘a child’ → ‘three children’.
