ABSTRACT
Sex in Question is a collection of articles by French feminists who were members of the group that established the journal Questions féministes with Simone de Beauvoir. These papers are, however, quite unlike the phenomenon that the English-speaking world has come to know as ‘French feminism’ because they are written from a shared materialist feminist perspective.1
