ABSTRACT
Afeminist philosophy of science is, among other things, one that allowsus to see whether and how gender politics influence science. Scientific research is understood to be a paradigm of rational thought and practice, so the question for feminist philosophers of science has been “Can gender values influence scientific research and the research still be rational?” The mark of a feminist philosophy of science is that it offers a positive answer to this question. Most respond, “yes, frequently”; some simply respond, “yes.”
