ABSTRACT
Holism facilitates one of the central goals of feminist philosophies ofscience, viz. finding ways to capture the relations among feminist, sexist, and androcentric common-sense beliefs and the beliefs or hypotheses constituting scientific theories; thus, certain models of holism comport well with both Wylie’s version and Nelson’s version of naturalized feminist empiricism.
