ABSTRACT
This textbook is testimony to the body of work on prognosis of patients with head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC) in relation to tumor factors and treatment factors.There has also been a considerable amount of work done to examine the relationship between diseaseand treatment-related factors and quality-oflife (QOL) in HNSCC patients. However, very little work has been done to examine the relationship between QOL (and psychologic factors in general) and prognosis.
