ABSTRACT
This chapter helps the students to improve their essay writing skill. It also presents some essays which help them to learn how to turn their grade C answers into grade A. Practice essay 1 about describes and evaluates two theories of the relationship between language and thought. The student's answer is the links between language and thought have been studied by philosophers for many years, but more recently, psychologists have joined the discussion.
