ABSTRACT
Recent advances in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) make new things possible; this is as true for the so-called 'real world' as it is for education. As access to new technologies grows outside schools, particularly in homes, and as more and more learning resources become available in digital form, the role and function of school as the best place of learning are being called into question.
