ABSTRACT
I ran into one of my son's former day care teachers the other day, and got a chance to meet her two-and-a-half-month old son. He's a big, happy baby, obviously well fed and healthy. In the course of our short conversation, and because she knows I'm interested in childbirth and breastfeeding (before her baby's birth I plied her with books about birthing and nursing), she told me some things about her birth and subsequent nursing experiences.
