ABSTRACT
This chapter will consider whether the Olduvai bones and artifacts were concentrated by processes other than the activities of hominids or other bone-collecting animals. In this first section, the evidence for water flow at Olduvai will be examined. The second section will compare the Olduvai sites with a special instance of nonhominid bone accumulation—the case at Fort Ternan, Kenya.
