ABSTRACT
This chapter examines how some of the equipment is assembled and operated. Remember that old Hollywood saying, "There are ten ways to do a job in Hollywood, and usually they are all correct." The chapter attempts to show grips many things that grips will need to know, if grips want to work in this ever-changing industry. ABS plastic comes in several size sheets. We usually order the 4 × 8 × 1/4 in. thick to start with. Then we will cut the sheet to the sizes we use most. The yard has about a 15-degree slope downhill, toward the street. The home was built on a small hill, so the front yard also has an upward incline as well. When laying down the track, ensure that the track is "straddling" the marks grips have put down. The marks are now in the "center" of the track.
