ABSTRACT

As shown in Chapters 1 and 2, there is growing opposition to financial support for Faith schools within the state system. This is reflected in the Accord Coalition Quarterlies of the Fair Admissions Campaign, British Humanist Association (BHA), and major reports, for example: Butler-Sloss Report, 2015, Living with Difference; Sutton Trust Report, Caught Out: Primary Schools, Catchment Areas and Social Selection (Allen and Parameshwaren, 2016); Woodhead, L. and Clarke, C., 2015, A New Settlement: Religion and Belief in Schools.
