ABSTRACT
EVERY youthful experience is strong and lasting; but each is also different. Members of the youth movement have come to believe that only those who belonged to it know what it was' all about. This is not altogether surprising; some Germans have always maintained that neither West nor East can understand their deepest motives and feelings.
