ABSTRACT
FROM our study of the heavenly bodies, to use the old phrase, we have come down to our own earth, where we are most at home. Here we must take stock for a little of the things and powers that exist apart from living creatures. And we cannot begin better than with the radiant energies which come to the earth from the sun or are resident in the earth itself.
