ABSTRACT
In the last chapter we discussed the various models of the universe and saw how most of them are based, in one way or another, upon Einstein's restricted and general theories of relativity. To complete our discussion of the universe, therefore, we must finally consider in some detail the two theories of relativity and particularly how they have been applied to cosmology.
