ABSTRACT
Passion is by definition a disruption to what may bring about safety and predictability, and a rejection of the idea that reason and convention are the only guides to life. It reflects a willingness to sacrifice for one’s beliefs regardless of their social acceptability and to gamble that life can offer more.
