ABSTRACT
The C programming language is currently one of the most popular procedural programming languages. In the first 10 sections of this chapter, we will present the major features of C and illustrate these features with several sample programs. In the last section, we will discuss various C programming environments. Before presenting the specifics of C, we first provide a brief summary of current programming practice.
