ABSTRACT
Until the advent of the microcomputer and large storage capacity, fast and economical disk drives, databases were the province of the mainframe computer. With new developments in technology and easy-to-use software such as Ashton-Tate’s dBASE IV or Microsoft’s Access, databases are now available to any microcomputer user.
