ABSTRACT
The Boko Haram insurgency has taken aim at Nigeria’s infrastructure – targeting trophy buildings such as the UN Headquarters, Emirs’ palaces, District Head palaces, Local Government Secretariat buildings, transportation facilities, entertainment centers, the hospitality industry, telecoms facilities, power stations, etc. It has been an all-out assault against Nigerian infrastructure with a design to take Nigeria back to the Stone Age – reminiscent of Afghanistan under Taliban rule.
