If you were to search a good dictionary, you could be expected to find more words relating to extraversion and agreeableness than for any of the other Big Five personality dimensions. 1 Between them, these two dimensions account for around half of the variability in personality across populations. Together, the variants of these two factors describe the interpersonal domain, which is represented diagrammatically, with quadrant labels 2 (see Figure 7.1).
