ABSTRACT

In this paper, a model of a reciprocating vibro separator is prepared using Creo Parametric design software and is further analyzed with ANSYS software. The motion behavior of a reciprocating vibro separator model and experimental setup is observed. Tools such as Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and time domain data graphs are used for the observation. From this work, the authors conclude that the experimental setup matches the computational model. The motor angle of the vibro separator varies from 25 degrees to 35 degrees for a constant motor speed of 1,000 rpm.
