ABSTRACT

All of Islamic injunctions always support efficiency in production and consumption. All of these injunctions have their own moral grounds. In Islamic political philosophy, social justice has a significant position. Islam places equal importance on individual freedom and social justice and also places equal importance on the positive and normative aspects of social justice in the economic framework. In the teaching of Islam, the freedom of the individual has some constraints which are morally and ethically justified. Social justice within the Islamic framework is covering all the aspects of human life, that is political, spiritual, material, social and economic. Islamic teachings begin with the purification of the heart, without which it is not possible to establish justice in a society. A practical application of social justice theory in the Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Malaysia and Gulf states is also needed.
